How to break weight stall/ Weight stuck during fat loss
Weight stall means that your weight is stuck for some days now. It can be very frustrating if you don’t know the reason behind it. Usually, your weight is said to be stalled if it hasn’t changed for 15 days. At the beginning of your weight loss journey, you will lose weight faster and easier but as you lose weight your body will start resisting fat loss and will slow down your metabolism and also reduce your energy requirements so it becomes very hard to lose weight. In this blog, I will tell you the tips that you can follow in order to break that weight stall and start losing fat again.
Calorie Cycling:-
If you are following a fat loss or weight loss diet you must be counting your calories. If you eat the same number of calories every day your body will get used to it very fast and you will stop losing weight. So you need to follow calorie cycling. Let's suppose you have to eat 2000 calories in a day to lose fat. So that becomes 14000 calories in a week so you can cycle your calories like 2200 on Monday, 2000 on Tuesday, 2300 on Wednesday, 2100 on Thursday, 1800 on Friday, 1700 on Saturday, and 1900 on Sunday. In this way, you can cycle your calories and your weekly total will also remain the same. Similarly, you can also cycle your macros.
Intensity of Exercise:-
As you move towards your goal weight you need to increase the intensity of your exercise as well. If you are doing strength training, increase your reps every week and move to heavier weight every 2 weeks. You need to lift heavy whether it is for muscle gain or fat loss. Introduce HIIT workout in your training believe me it helps a lot (you can google for details of HIIT workout).
Measuring inches:-
Scale is not the only way to check your progress. There are much higher chances that you are losing fat but your weight on the scale remains the same because you are also gaining muscle simultaneously which is a very good thing and muscle mass brings a lot of benefits with it. So you need to check your inches every 15 days and if your inches are decreasing it means that you are on the right track
